In many locations, in the areas surrounding the Gaza Strip, the Israeli Company, Al-Sorag’s window and glass protection technology is, unfortunately, having to be put to the test on a daily basis. This is a direct result of incoming Kassam missiles that impact among population centers. Many of the buildings’ windows here have been protected with window film and advanced anchoring systems in order to prevent the dangerous, splinters and shrapnel that inevitably result from the Blast wave. A Kassam rocket that falls near to a building usually causes dangerous flying fragments of glass and anyone located within that section of the building is liable to suffer serious injury. Because the window glass is now protected by this transparent coating, that is in many cases also additionally anchored to the buildings structure, in the unfortunate event that a Kassam does land nearby, glass remains held together in one piece with Al-Sorag’s coating preventing mass casualties.
